THE ESSENCE.
Vistosi is the art and craft of light.
It is Venetian tradition and continuous innovation. It is uniqueness entering an environment and illuminating it. Each and every Vistosi lamp was born out of a precise idea: that of bringing the centuries-old tradition of the Murano’s master glassmakers to innovative designs, thus creating light bodies where design and functionality find their utmost expression. And so the need to illuminate is transformed into an experience of beauty.
THE IDENTITY.
Made in Italy is more than a distinctive label: it represents the very soul of the company and its success, which cannot prescind from the territory, i.e. from Venice. Here, five centuries ago, the dreams of an entire family became reality and consolidated over time thanks to that strength and dedication to work that is typically Venetian. Here glass has found hands capable of extraordinary workmanship. Here the reflections of water, architectural forms and decorations have always fed an artistic sensibility as unique as difficult to define. But that's not all: Vistosi’s Made in Italy takes substance from the fascinating and successful collaboration that the company has been carrying on for decades with the most important Italian designers. Giogali by Angelo Mangiarotti, Alega by Vico Magistretti, up to the work on the emphasis on colour of Cloth lamps, are among the most fascinating and far-sighted examples of its catalogue.

EXCELLENCE.
The past mixes with the present. Each project is a challenge: that of combining the highest aesthetic and artistic standards of glass-working with a necessary and simple functionality such as lighting. This is how excellence was born. In this way, craftsmanship innovates and finds revolutionary applications, each time brighter. Like getting back to working with the Murano membrane used in new lighting fixtures, or the intuition of Damasco, the lamp that takes its shape from the ancient technique of applying threads of molten glass. This ability to look back at the past and at the same time to look to the present let the company create collections that do not fear the passing of time but that suspend it, thus becoming icons of light.
THE MASTERS.
Venice, with its magic and uniqueness, is the true matrix of Vistosi creations. Founded as a workshop of master glassmakers in the sixteenth century, Vistosi has handed down with parsimony and wisdom the alchemical art of glassmaking in Murano. The prestige that today the whole world recognizes to Venetian glass is first of all thanks to the people: the master glassmakers, custodians of local craftsmanship, are still the beating heart of the company. Similarly the furnace, the place of glass par excellence, has remained at the centre of the contemporary production process. The resilience, story and doggedness of these workers are the same features that made Venice the most beautiful city in the world.
